In recognition of the bicentennial of the drafting of the United States Constitution and the Constitutional Convention, at our annual meeting in October, Ronald C. Nagle spoke on the Constitution from a lawyer's perspective. Mr. Nagle, an attorney in West Chester, was at that time also the president of the Chester County Bar Association. His remarks constitute the first feature in this issue.

The view of the Main Line as it was forty-five years ago was published during the Second World War. It was recently rediscovered by one of our long-time members, Bob Warner.

In our next article we look at a little-known burial site in Tredyffrin Township, the Theodore Ricks Memorial Cemetery in Devon.

The old bill forms from Berwyn businesses 75 years or so ago, shown in reduced size in the next feature, were salvaged from the old farm manager's office at Chesterbrook Farm before it was demolished. The information about these businesses is taken from the article "Berwyn Around 1920" in the October 1970 issue of the Quarterly (Vol. XV, No. 4). We plan to show some of the bill forms of other local business in our two townships at that time from time to time in future issues.

And finally, although Sunnybrook Ballroom is across the Schuylkill River in Montgomery County, it was a favorite of many of our younger set for many years. (It obviously was a favorite of the author too!) As one ofits fans recalled, "If a boy took you to Sunnybrook, you knew you were something special!"
