The Devon Horse Show and Country Fair

The 2014 Annual Members Excursion took us to the Devon Horse Show and Country Fair (DHSCF). Members who attended enjoyed visiting the "exclusive" Committee Stand and looking at the collection of historic photos that the Society has installed on the walls. There was an informal but informative presentation the Society's ongoing collaborative projects, and DHSCF Executive Director Meg Wiederseim led a special "behind-the-scenes" guided walking tour of the buildings and grounds. Afterwards the group gathered for conversation and refreshments, including delicious tea sandwiches and special seasonal beverages.

Following its debut an the 2014 Devon Horse Show and Country Fair, our new publication "Rediscovering Devon" was available at this event.
